Recall Petition

For anyone that wants to sign the petition for Betty(must live in district 3), contact John Dean on Facebook. The one for Powers is already submitted and names couldn't be added, but there was more than enough signatures anyway.

The only thing I see wrong with the Cornett petition is that John Dean is the "author" of that petition. He is, afterall, Thompson's son in law. Anyone else, but him, would be acceptable to me.

I never said he was the author of the petition, I just said to contact to him and he has it to sign, he was the last person that I know that has it. I have one right now I'm passing around to get signed, but I'll be passing it on to others and I didn't author it.

The main thing,like I said, is the fact that he is the contact. Not that I don't think she shouldn't be recalled, I do. And I may be mis understanding you, but what are you doing with one for her? You don't live in our district.

So if you happened to be related to any member, you have to be neutral? He's a voter like anyone else, he can't get signatures for a petition for his rep? Thompson has had nothing to do with iit' hell we're talking about a woman who is related to another board member on another board. And I never said I had that petition, I have a petition, its not even a recall petition and its for all wise county citizens to sign. I've never even seen the one for betty.

And as of a matter of fact you won't find my name on this one that was filed on Powers, not even Bill's name either. There were several started and we had signed another one, those signatures aren't on this one. These petitions are pased around to several people to get the sigs quicker, its hard for one person to gather enough people together to get them all. The process of this by the way us that there will first be signature certification and then ruled on by the judge, this particular one probably won't materialize since the election is a few months away anyway, but the one against Betty does have a better shot. Apparently Cantrell has been telling others that he doesn't pan on attending another meeting, he needs to resign, he had no business on that board to begin with.

Nope, not saying that at all. It would give the impression that Ted is behind the petition(not saying that he is). Just pointing out the obvious here, especially with the way with which this whole thing has been handled the past 10 years. You seem to forget that I have said on here repeatedly how stupid the antis have acted and that consolidation should have happened long ago. Consolidation happened, it is good for the county and especially for the students. Let the bickering cease(no pun intended) and move on. There will be a new election come November, so let the people speak then. All these petitions are doing is "rubbing salt in an open wound". Let's all be grown ups about this and let the healing begin. As far as me saying you had a petition to sign also, I assumed that it was the same as the one Dean has, afterall, you did not make it clear in your post that it was a totally different petition. As far as the husband and wife serving on different boards, it happens across the country all the time, especially in rural areas such as ours. Do I agree with it? Certainly not! That is a problem that Ithink the people in District 3 WILL rectify soon. Both of them have proven their idiocracy time and time again. Both boards are corupt down to the "core" and both boards need to be replaced"en-masse". You see, I happen to know that there were 3 schoolboard members that went on a hunting trip in Colorado with Dr. Perry, do you think that gave the appearance of being appropriate? I am not saying that they discussed anything, just that to the average citizen, I believe it would, especially with all the accusations that have flown around about all these "backdoor" meetings members have been accused of having.
